Fuzz is the proto-metal-worshipping power trio of Ty Segall, Charles Moothart , and Meatbodies' Chad Ubovich. They already have a lot of musical experience under their belt, so it comes as no surprise that they manage to keep up with the quality of their debut album. Of course, the quintessence of their sound remains untouched - fuzz-driven guitar action, tricky breaks and heavy 70s rock interludes are once again to be found in the band's familiar sweet garage context.
Overall, the album is an astounding piece of work, which builds upon the band's previous EPs and debut LP. The length is a barrier for entry, however these are not men looking for new fans, they are purely having the time of their lives, and the infectious energy of three young rockers having a great time can be felt throughout the record.
